Merry Christmas Jessica or A Christmas Miracle For Jessica
December 23th, 2009
Today, more than ever, I am proud to be an Entrepreneur. More specifically, I’m proud to belong to a community of marketers called CarbonCopyPRO. Thanks to 49 different individuals responding to a heartbroken mother’s plea for help, 19 year old Jessica Phillibert will be able to continue her education at Wheaton College next month.
Here’s a short version of the story: Melanie, a team member of CarbonCopyPRO, needed $18 384 to keep her daughter in school for another semester. Funds that the Phillibert family did not have. With the tuition payment deadline rapidly approaching, it looked like the 2009 fall semester would be Jessie’s last. Every option had been exhausted.
Except one…
With nowhere else to go, Melanie in faith asked the school for a payment extension and then turned to Jay Kubassek for help. Jay, as you may know, is co-founder and CEO of CarbonCopyPRO, the direct sales company that both Melanie and I work for.
CarbonCopy has 10 000+ members in 170 countries, and so naturally, prior to her approaching him, Jay had no idea who Melanie was. However, touched by her story and intrigued by her tenaciousness, Jay took it upon himself to launch an impromptu fund raising campaign for young Jessica.
First thing in the morning he sent an email out to all the top producers with our company, asking everyone to pitch in to support Jessica’s cause.
Next, Jay stepped out on VP of Leadership John Jackson’s “Wake Up” call for the CarbonCopyPRO community, asking our members for their support. They were encouraged to visit Jay’s blog where they could read Melanie’s story in more detail, and where they would also have the opportunity to make a financial contribution if they felt led to do so.

$10, $25, $100, $1000…gifts of all sizes poured in to Jessica’s tuition fund all day long. Top earners and “newbie” marketers alike wanted to help.
It’s now 15 hours later, and we’re at an amazing $15,760. $ 2624 short…that’s it. And, of course, it’s not over yet. It’s not over until we reach the needed $18 384, which will cover Jessie’s tuition in full.

I am proud to be part of a 20+ million dollar company where the CEO is human enough to recognize, and fulfill, a need when he sees it.

Is this boring to you?
Think about it: 97% of the Internet marketers, online workers or home based business beginners fail to succeed and stop their business after 120 days or less! It is absolutely crazy! It appears that these people did not develop the entrepreneurial mindset that is essential to succeed.
Top earners usually went through the same steps than newbies. They saw a lot of starting and failing because of a lack of a entrepreneurial mindset. Top earners know that the personal state, personal development and mindset are CRITICAL to succeed!

Do You Have The Entrepreneurial Mindset? Here are a few Keys to Develop It
Do you have the entrepreneurial mindset these days?
In my company, quite every training calls or webinars start by talking about the entrepreneurial mindset, commitment, drive and focus. Then, we talk about strategies, tools and skills!
Is this boring to you?
Think about it: 97% of the Internet marketers, online workers or home based business beginners fail to succeed and stop their business after 120 days or less! It is absolutely crazy! It appears that these people did not develop the entrepreneurial mindset that is essential to succeed.
Top earners usually went through the same steps than newbies. They saw a lot of starting and failing because of a lack of a entrepreneurial mindset. Top earners know that the personal state, personal development and mindset are CRITICAL to succeed!
That is why there is a part, in all the trainings, which talks about that and conditions us to have what it takes to succeed. So, it is top priority to take full responsibility to integrate all these notions, to create an empowered entrepreneurial mindset, to get all the personal resources needed to follow through and reach our outcomes.
That could seem trivial, but for sure it is not. For at least several weeks or months, you need to accept to work a lot (and you MUST work a lot), to accept to have no or poor results, no comments about your articles, your posts, no feedback from your videos, and no LEADS! You need to accept that your great idea is not seen by others for a while, except by initiates. By developing this strong mindset with really strong commitment, drive, focus, you will go through the necessary steps, to develop your ability to become visible on the web, without losing your engagement to succeed.
You know that everyone that claims you will be able to make a lot of money in a few weeks is a pusher of clouds, or a scammer!
To help you to develop a stronger entrepreneurial mindset, think about these questions and find your empowering answers:
- Do you have a clear WHY you started your small home based business?
- Do you have a clear and precise plan for the next days, weeks and months?
- Do you have a clear commitment to succeed whatever will be the frustrated moments you will face?

Is there any successful work at home experiences that we can trust?
As announced in my last topic, here is the second part of the series I propose to you about work at home business. As many of you, I was tired of my professional life. I was tired to be dependant of a boss blocking my career development, or not prepare to permit to prosper as an expert. I was tired to work so much without the return of time investment I should be expecting. And finally, I was tired to spend hours in traffic, to not have time with my family and my animals. I decided that was to much and that I will fire my boss in a successful way!
So, I decided to consider to start working at home. By doing a quick search in search engine, it is easy to find tons of offers for presumably incredible work at home opportunities. Most of those are just scam.
If it was so easy to make money from home, much more people would be rich at this time and recession would have had any impact on people actually!
Nevertheless, my own research for a “work at home review” shown me that there are real, valuable work at home opportunities. We can find successful work at home experiences for people like you and me. They are not guru’s in a particular fields, they did not invest thousands of dollars.
